Sir Can't-A-Lot
There once was a boy who said “can’t” … a lot! His parents nick-named him Sir Can’t-A-Lot, as he loved the medieval times and wore a knight’s helmet he bought at a Renaissance Festival last summer. He also had a pet bearded dragon lizard named Merlin, who he had daily imaginative adventures with.
Trouble is, Arthur is so much in his imagination, he forgets to do things "in the real world" like chores. He can't get through them without procrastination or worry. Something else is on Arthur's mind, distracting him from being brave.
His parents come up with a clever idea to remind Arthur to do his chores and believe in himself that he CAN do anything he puts his heart and mind to.
2 books in one! ... double the fun! Flip the book over, open the back cover, and turn the page to reveal a poem written in verse, accompanied by fun medieval themed art.
The full page illustrations of Arthur and Merlin (shown on right) were beautifully illustrated by Macedonian-Canadian visionary artist, Biljana (Banchotova) Webb. You can visit her Whirling Wisdom Spiral Gate art studio in the Highlands East, Ontario. She also has a special integrated art experience on her land at a special place called Frog Hollow
