Petal the Flower Faery, a Nautical Adventure

Petal isn't like the other forest faeries. She doesn't quite fit in - literally! She's half-giant! Growing up with her father being a giant and her mother a faery, Petal did not sprout wings. Instead she is a ground faery. You can see where she's been, as she leaves petals and 4-leaf clovers in her footsteps. Petal learns though she is different, she is still a faery and learns to accept herself and have fun!

Petal develops real friendships and goes on several adventures, with her friends and those she meets: Ship Captain Indigo "Indi" Ocean Blue, Bee, Moss, Luna, Oak the Playful, and Trixella Morel with a mushroom village of 100 faeries at her side on multiple adventures. Illustrations for the book inspired by real-life photography.
 
This special edition includes the real-life photography of the characters brought to life. Limited edition print run. This book is approximately 44K words and 188 pages and is appropriate for an audience 8-14 or those who enjoy Percy Jackson and Narnia type adventure stories with faeries.
